We provide services to: schools, military, VA, and physicians. We are not dependant on the sale and
dispensing of hearing aids. Because we are diversified in our work, we are able to keep our prices for
hearing aids competitive and low. We have a diverse selection of hearing aids, as well.
Comparing prices without the knowledge of hearing aids is a difficult thing to do. Dispenser's prices
may vary a lot. One often Compares apples to oranges when checking out the prices for hearing aids.
Circuits are not the same. Low price is not necessarily high quality and expensive does not mean the
best. Identical circuits may have different brand names. The price of the same identical hearing aid
can vary considerably in price at different dispenser locations. The best way to price compare is to
pick a common brand name and model and call a dispenser to get a quote on the chosen specific
hearing aid.
1. There is a high degree of competition between manufacturers to put more money into research
and development every year in order to build newer and better hearing aids. One new hearing aid
circuit may cost a hearing aid manufacturer several million. The manufacture needs to recover
those costs with the sell of every hearing aid.
2. Returned hearing aids costs by dispensers and manufacturers are tacked onto the cost of a new
hearing aids from the manufacturer so that you pay a small amount of money for the person who
chose not to buy.
3. A manufacturer employs a diversified population of people in order to:
*Build hearing aids
*Manage sales, open houses, services, complaints and repairs
*Manufacture molds and make shells
*Provide education
*Manage research and design (includes specialized acoustic engineers, circuit designers, computer
experts, program and software designers, specialized electronic equipment.
4. High end high quality sophisticated digital hearing aid circuits cost more than low end digital
circuits to build. The more a hearing aid has in it in the way of flexibility for adjustment, the more the
hearing aid will cost to build. High end digital hearing aids will fine tune across multiple frequencies
for comfort, soft and loud sounds. Included in the circuit may be speech/noise management, noise
management, wind noise management, feedback management, multiple memories, directional mics,
etc. High end hearing aid circuits have much more flexibility for fine tuning and adjustment than low
end instruments. The high end instrument will also generally offer more flexibility for noise
management and other management programs.
